Last month I went on a crafting frenzy. Things have calmed down but I wanted to add a little bit more warmth to our home before hosting Thanksgiving for the very first time in our new home! We're so excited to host my parents, brother, and his girlfriend this year. Can't wait till they get here and I know the boys are just over the moon both about family coming up as well as new fun decorations.
These cuties really are so silly about new decor.
Mama, dat looks gweat! Good job, mama!
Wow!!! Beauuuutifuuuu!
So, with that, let me share my little photo journey that demonstrates how easy-peasy and incredibly cheap this little banner is!
Materials: paper grocery bags, whole puncher, twine (or any ribbon), marker, and scissors (not pictured)
Did you have any last minute decorations put up before this Thanksgiving? If not, there's still some time for this easy-peasy grocery bag Thanksgiving Banner! :)
That looks lovely! I think if I made it though, someone would look at it and ask why I cut up my grocery bags to hang on my wall I just don't have that "Cute, crafty touch."
ReplyDeleteNo way, Jenny! You are always crafting together beautiful printables ie you have this knack for cute and crafty for sure!
DeleteSo cute, so sweet, so nice.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Bonnie! I'm so glad it actually turned out!
DeleteThis is definitely crafty - and love the simplicity. It's something we can do for Thanksgiving (can't believe it's just a few days away!). BTW - you are an awesome photographer!!!
ReplyDeleteYay, Jen! So glad! And, seriously, that is the nicest compliment ever! You really made my year! Photography has been so fun and I've just been loving learning and growing!

DeleteThis looks totally doable, which is my most important criterion for a craft project these days. I love your pom-poms, too. It's all so cute and cozy looking. Happy Thanksgiving- enjoy being the host!
ReplyDeleteIt is, Abbey! Easy, doable, and quick are the name of the game these days. The poms-poms took less than an hour too! As for hosting Thanksgiving, thank you! I'm definitely nervous and slightly stressed but going to let my phlegmatic self mosey along and pray it all works out. :)
DeleteI love it! I was thinking about trying a grocery bag banner (since burlap is just too messy for me!) but it never would have occurred to me to use the printed bags! What a great touch!
ReplyDeleteAnd the pom-poms?!?! Perfect!
I like it as much as your boys :)
I know, as much as I love Burlap, I'm not a fan of the messy either. Haha, glad you like the decor as much as my boys!. That made me laugh. Thank you! :) Happy Thanksgiving, friend!
