Theme Thursday: Statues

Theme Thursday is all about Statues! I didn't take any pictures today, because we honestly have just one that  immediately comes to mind that my Grandma gave me for Christmas one year. This Guardian Angel statue is below with Joseph. He was so sweet. Around 14 months or so he would go up to the statue and say "men!" (his version of Amen) and I was able to capture this sweet of sweet moments with my phone camera.
The next statue picture isn't a picture of my statue, but it's a favorite. Our friend's family lives in a quaint, little German-town here in Texas. Our Bible Study, made  up  of amazing families with littles, made a trip or two out to their home as a mini-vacation. Their home is beautiful and filled with reminders of Him everywhere! They even have their very own grotto! It's gorgeous! That's where the picture below was taken.
And, last picture is my most favorite corner in DC. I was in DC for graduate school for two years. While there I was blessed to attend daily Mass at the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception. Mass here was such a gift to me that I will forever treasure. But, my most favorite little corner in this amazingly, large and beautiful church is this one below.
Welp, that's all I got, in a rush and a day late!

    1. I know! Their home is a ranch-style beauty on an awesome lot of land. We're so blessed that our friends family takes all 6-7 families of us in for a weekend-mini! While there, it's a little bit of retreat with a lot of fun and friends :)
